In a Flash...

It has been well over a year since I have written or posted. April 2019 was the last entry. A lot has changed since then. Friendships with other military spouses were ignited. Connections were made to start another company. I had my first book signing. We were desperately trying to find a church family to call home for the year. Nothing fit. There was no home. We became lost. In the end, we clung to at-home Bible time, Homeschool Bible time, and each other. We opened our home to the neighbors, the community around us. Longing for that Church connection.

My husband retired from the United States Marine Corp. this year. We have since moved back home. Life has literally changed in flash. The routine we once had that worked so well has been taken from me. The church we thought we would throw ourselves into was not the place for us. We believe we have found a place we can call home.

The world around us is falling apart. People have divided themselves into tribalism, cancel culture, political stances, fear of disease, and viruses. The churches closed leaving those believers to rely on God even more. Others to fall away. Some have opened, others have not. Satan is running around this world like it's his fairgrounds. Fear of the enemy is running rapid, Fear of the government is controlling part of the population. Fear of the patriots is causing political classes to protest and riot. Patriots are wanting to stand up and fight, only to mocked, beaten, maimed, killed, or shut down.

God? Where are you? Have you forsaken your heritage? When will you shut this down? When will common sense come back, when will the great divide cease to exist? Is the world as we once knew, gone forever? Is there a Revival coming? What must change to go back? Back to the time when life was precious, we all mattered, hatred and disagreements happened but not acted upon. We stood together for one common thing. All human life matters no matter the color of one's skin. The beauty of skin colors because its the image of God. The God who created us, The God that called us beloved.

"And I will forsake the remnant of my heritage and give them into the hand of their enemies, and they shall become a prey and spoil to all their enemies." 2 Kings 21:14

Here is your word Lord, allow it to rest on shoulders. Give us peace and understanding.

"Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you." 1 Peter 4:12

"You, therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability." 2 Peter 3:17

"O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame? How long will you love vain words and seek after lies? But know that the Lord has set apart godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call him." Psalm 4: 2-3

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong." 1 Corinthians 16:13

"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6

The best hope you can give us Lord is this:

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom we has chosen as his heritage." Psalms 33:12

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

"Fear not, for I am with you: be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

God! We need you now! So be it! Amen!
