I am still here!
February 25th was my last post, it was not an easy topic to discuss or share. If you have learned anything from my older posts, you know that I wear my heart on my sleeves. I am not okay living a lie or living under a mask. Since February I am working on growing boldly in the Lord. I am praying for boldness to be the beautiful women, I have grown into thus far. I am praying for courage, the courage to step out against the norm and be the Daughter of a Risen King. I am praying for courage to continue who God is working on.
There are days where I throw God an on a back burner. There are days where I humbly fall at his feet. In the storms, he is my lifeguard, and my Life Guard walks on water! I am a Child of God! He continues to speak through our new church family. We have jumped in with our entire hearts (at least I have.) I look forward to the relationships that are yet to blossom. I count my blessings for the ones that have started.
It's been hard to articulate what is happening in my life and how to share what God is doing. He has allowed me to write a children's book (for middle age kids 9-12) I hope to self-publish. We have decided to homeschool year round. My husband has a year and a half left in this duty station, and a lifetime of pain to heal from. I stand by his side daily as his crown. Waiting for him, to meet him.
We were able to host again with Portland Safe Families. That was fun, I miss is it. God is moving in our family.
I will share more when I can articulate. Until then remember God Loves YOU!
