Good morning!
It's six days until Christmas. My last post was back in July of this year. The family and I are super excited to spend time with our Family. I would like to give you a brief update as to what's going on in my life.
I did write about my desire to grow Boldly in the Lord. Hoping to be full of more courage. A courage that would allow me to not be afraid in daily life tasks and about the courage to share my faith. I have to honestly admit I have not been diligent in prayer about these specific requests.
I also posted that I was working on writing a children's book and was hoping to self-publish it. Well with God on my side, I was able to do that. I have written my book, and it's now available on Amazon. See the link below. Book 1 "The Coat that Caused Trouble." (Yes I did reference my blog a bit in my book, I turned it into a coffee shop :)) I am working on book 2 a sequel.
The latter part of this year I was also able to join the worship team at church. Build stronger relationships within the church. Continue to serve Portland's own Safe Families. Our family will now be hosting a HomeGroup in our home. Please continue to keep us in prayer. You all know the enemy likes to destroy what he can't have.
Our journey in Portland may be becoming to an end this coming September. I'm not sure how much of an impact we have made. I feel like we made a more significant impact at our last duty station. Maybe we weren't meant to here. Perhaps the impact is still coming. Either way, we are all content with what God has been doing in our lives. My husband still struggles with his emotional pain. I will continue to stand by him and love on him and respect him. I will never give up. I pray your Christmas is full of Joy that only God can provide.
With much love
